Cow Fairs:

In 1980, cow fighting was going on in Hathazari. This is part of the tradition of Chittagong. Fairs ranging from Magh Falgun to Chaitra Boishakh for the cow's fairs were settled. In the British period, the cows of Madinahat oil paddy and Maulvi Nikeuddin were the best cows to fight. Haji Nur Ahmad Prakash Kong of Fatepur, Sufiyar Baba, Lal Mia Kong, Abdur Rashid Co., Mistri Munshi Miah and Udaliyar's Birish Gaar were well known. In 1964, Sufiyar Baba and Lal Meyer's cow were taken to the Outer Stadium Exhibition of Dhaka. Governor of East Pakistan gave a certificate to Lal Mia Kong's cow. In the 1960s, the bears had a price of 500 rupees, it would have cost millions of rupees today. The battle of Khilia Para, Fatepur mediaprul, Rajarama Bill, Buriripukur, Soyapukur, Madanahat, Madna Bills, Fateyabad Dhopardighi, Battaloli, Northern Madarsa, Gadhua, and Mekal Kamaiyyara were held in the village.

Introduction to Hathazari pottery:

Pottery of Hathazari was largely confined to a particular community. Water pots, dried water, potions, water crystals, clay pots, curry, cupboards, cupboards, salt bowl, potato making, curd, stork, hookah, kalaki, Dhupdani, flutamen, ashidani, earth lamps The pots necessary for daily life like pickle, irritation etc. During the British and Pakistan period, they used to sell pottery through exchange system. Potters in Fatepur Coolan Para, Rudra Palli, Shikshapur, Chariya and South Pahartali were the buses. The work of the Kumars is very ancient and traditional. In the advancement of science, potter's pottery is now almost extinct.
